Trips together, a shared flat, dinners with friends. Rachuneczek keeps track of who owes whom and shows the shortest way to settle up - no spreadsheets, no mental arithmetic.
You create an account with an invitation from someone who already uses Rachuneczek.
Other apps stop at a number. But the balance is only half the job - the other half begins when you have to dig out somebody account number and retype the amount without a typo.
A balance has never settled anything. A transfer does.
Scan it in your banking app. Recipient, amount and title are already filled in. A standard every Polish bank understands.
Number and amount ready to copy with one tap. The rest happens in your banking app.
An expense in euros is converted at the rate from the day of purchase. Enter what your bank actually charged and we will catch its margin.
From the photo of a receipt to the summary of a year.
Without adding yet another app to your phone.
A trip, a home, a one-off party - each group keeps its own expenses and balances.
You photograph the bill and the amount lands in the expense by itself. Nothing to retype, not even with thirty items on it.
Your phone reads it, not our server. Because it is your receipt.
Living together? You settle together. A 900 PLN cabin shared by a couple and two solo travellers is 300 per household, not 225 per head.
You see who you pay and who pays you. Mark a payment with one click; the other side confirms.
Nobody has to remind anybody.
You know somebody paid but not how much? Ask them to enter the amount. It only enters the balance once you approve it.
Send a receipt by e-mail with the amount in the subject and it lands in the group as an expense.
How much you spent, on what, and with whom most often. A summary of the year you can download as a PDF.
Install it on your home screen, open it with one tap and photograph receipts straight from the camera.
No app store. No updates to remember.
From the first receipt to the last transfer. Without a single column in a spreadsheet.
For a trip, a shared flat or dinner with friends. You invite people by e-mail and they create their own accounts.
Type in the amount or photograph the receipt. You choose who chips in and how you split the cost.
Rachuneczek finds the shortest path to zero and hands you a QR code or a BLIK number. You mark the payment, the other side confirms.
Done. Nobody owes anybody anything, nobody is doing sums in their head, nobody opens a sentence with "remember when you...". The evening goes back to being an evening.
Harmony in a group does not come from everyone counting well.
It comes from nobody having to.
Four different stories. Each one ends with the same question: how much do I actually owe you?
Someone pays for the cabin, someone for the fuel, someone fills up on the way and forgets to mention it.
One transfer each, instead of thirty.
Electricity, rent, the big Saturday shop. Rachuneczek collects it over a month and says plainly who owes whom.
A fridge is for food. Not for bills under a magnet.
You split costs between you, but to everyone else you are one wallet.
On a shared trip you count as one unit, not two heads.
One person pays the whole bill by card. A photo of the receipt, a split by line item, a QR code for everyone.
Before dessert arrives.
Rachuneczek has no investors to feed with growth.
We do not sell your attention, because we have nobody to sell it to.
That one sentence changes absolutely everything about this app.
We do not like them either, so none will ever stand between you and the bill you want to enter.
There are no countdowns or timers here to sit through.
A ten-day trip means ten days of expenses. Not three entries a day and a premium notice on the fourth.
You have Rachuneczek, which means somebody vouched for you.
We are not going to punish you for it with a counter.
We count page views on our own server, without a single cookie and without an identifier stored on your device. We respect "Do Not Track" before you get a chance to ask.
We are not interested in who you are on the internet. We are interested in who you owe twenty zloty.
Your group sees the photo, because it is their bill. But the text on the receipt is read by your browser, not by our server.
The tax number, the account number and the address never reach our database. Only the amounts you approve yourself ever arrive here.
There is nothing to unlock, because there is no lock. You get everything from day one, or you get nothing.
There are no first-class and second-class users here.
There is one class, and you are in it.
Export your data with one click. Delete your account without a conversation with an agent who asks whether you are sure.
The door opens both ways. Otherwise it is not a door, it is a trap.
We have no growth team, no subscription plan and no monetisation slide. Rachuneczek does one thing, and does it so that after a trip together nobody has to become the accountant.
But it does that thing without compromise. A QR code matching the Polish banking standard. The NBP rate from the day of the expense, not from the day you happen to look. Splitting by household rather than by head, because a couple living together is one wallet, not two. Things you will not find in an app written for thirty markets at once.
We do not want your money. We only want yours to find its way back to you.
This is not an app written for you. It is an app written with you. Got an idea that would make it better? Write to the author - you know this problem from the inside, so a good idea usually ends up in the code, and you along with it.
Want to say thanks? A beer will do, the author won't say no.
An idea? A bug? Write to kontakt@rachuneczek.pl, or tell me about it over that beer.
Rachuneczek cannot be bought. There is no plan that unlocks the door and no form after which somebody calls you back.
You create an account only with an invitation from a person who is already here.
This is not an artificial queue outside the door. An app for shared money only works well when the people in a group trust one another. Whoever invites you vouches for you with an invitation of their own - they have as many as they have, and no payment will get them more.
If you are holding an invitation, somebody chose you.
Feeling special? Good. Because you are.
After every trip together, somebody had to become the accountant. A spreadsheet, screenshots from banking apps, asking who paid for the petrol and whether Kate ever paid back for those tickets.
Rachuneczek exists so that this somebody can finally go on holiday like everyone else. And so that settling up ends with scanning a QR code, not with the conversation at the table that nobody wants to have.
Or you live with somebody. Electricity, rent, the big Saturday shop and those two beers somebody dropped into the trolley. You can sit down with a calculator and ruin your evening, or put the match on and leave the counting to an app. Rachuneczek has no opinion on what you are watching. It has an opinion on you not doing arithmetic while you watch.
Because the best settlement is the one nobody had to talk about.
No. There is no plan, no fee and no waiting list that changes that. Ask the person you split bills with most often.
Assuming they have Rachuneczek 😏
Nothing. There is no paid tier either, so there is nothing to unlock. Rachuneczek is a private tool, not a business.
You are not the product. You are not even the customer.
You are a guest.
You leave with it. Export everything with one click, delete the account without being asked why. No retention forms.
No agent will ring you with a special offer. Nobody will ask what else we could throw in to keep you.
Rachuneczek is a privilege, not a subscription. You leave whenever you like, and the door stays open.
Expenses in foreign currencies - yes, at the NBP rate from the day of purchase. The transfer QR code and BLIK are Polish standards, so paying each other back works best with Polish accounts.
They only see the expenses of groups you share. Your other groups, your statistics and your year in review are yours alone.
Every expense has an author and a history of changes, and when settling up you can report that something does not add up. A disputed payment does not enter the balance until the other side confirms it.
Rachuneczek does not settle arguments. It only makes sure there is something to talk about, rather than something to guess at.
The app opens without a connection, but balances and expenses are always fetched fresh. We would rather say "no connection" than show you a figure from three days ago.
Once a week we remind you about an open balance, and only when nothing has happened in the group for seven days. One click switches even that off.
Your phone has enough apps competing for your attention.
This one only wants your receipts.
You get a link to set a new one, and we will ask you to type it twice. A typo during a reset can lock a person out of their own front door.
We know. We checked.
We will be, once we are sure nothing breaks on the way. For now you install Rachuneczek straight from the browser and it lands on your home screen like any other icon.
We would rather ship something good later than something passable today.
They stay exactly where they were. Rachuneczek does not write off debts as time passes and does not pretend to have forgotten them.
It remembers. Politely, but it remembers.
No.
That was a short question and an even shorter answer.
One person who played the accountant after one too many trips. Rachuneczek is a private tool by EVO-CODE, not a company with investors.
